Worth Avenue Pet Parade & America’s Top Dog Model ® “Casting Call”

There will be oodles of poodles and other precious pets on hand when The Worth Avenue Association presents its annual pet contest. Pet lovers are invited to “paws” and enjoy the day. Pets are encouraged to dress to impress for their 15 minutes of fame on the runway in the famous Gucci Courtyard. Festivities will include contest, glamour pet photography, and pet goody bags!

In addition The Worth Avenue Association will host a “Casting Call.” See the following instructions.

WHEN: Saturday, March 14, 2009 – 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Registration in the Gucci Courtyard – 256 Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, Florida

                  9:00 a.m. Large Pets (36 lbs. and over)

                  9:30 a.m. Medium Pets (16-35 lbs)

                 10:00 a.m. Small Pets (1-15 lbs.)

America’s Top Dog Model ® 2009 “Casting Call” Instructions:

America’s Top Dog Model ® 2009 “Casting Call” will take place during the Worth Avenue Pet Parade on March 14, 2009. The winner of Best in Show in each category, small, medium, and large dog, will automatically be eligible to compete nationally for the title of America’s Top Dog Model ® 2009 and featured in America’s Top Dog Model ® 2011 Calendar. One runner-up from each category, selected during the “Casting Call” will become a finalist, in the event that a contestant fails to meet the following criteria:

To qualify, contestants must submit a 5 X 7 Color horizontal photo, a photo release, signed rules, and completed profile by April 14, 2009. All forms can be found on America’s Top Dog Model ® web site. Forms will also be available at Worth Avenue Pet Parade. America’s Top Dog Model ® “Casting Call” Instructions

A “Casting Call” will take place during Animal Humane Society’s Walk for Animals on May 2, 2009 at 9:20 AM. Register for the “Casting Call” online:  www.animalhumanesociety.org/walk/contests. Up to three finalists will be selected to compete nationally for the title of America’s Top Dog Model ® 2009, and featured in America’s Top Dog Model ® 2011 calendar.

To qualify, finalists must submit a 5 X 7 color, horizontal photo, signed rules, photo release, and completed profile by May 18, 2009.  Photos must be professional quality and reflect the environmental theme of America’s Top Dog Model ® contest "Go Gorgeously Green".  All forms can be found on America’s Top Dog Model ® web site and at Walk for Animals.
